Justin Bieber, Shane Dawson, and Ray William Johnson are those people who have made a reputation on this site. The idea started with three people and became a community of millions.  

Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karmin founded YouTube in the early months of 2005. The idea was born when having trouble with sharing a video at a dinner party. An idea that has become a reality through video trouble is astounding. This idea grew very rapidly within months’ time.     

YouTube got its jumpstart with an 11.5 million dollar investment by Sequoia Capital. Sequoia is located in California right on Sand Hill road. The Wall Street Journal has commented that Sequoia is one of the most prestigious venture firms in the world. This venture firm created the foundation for YouTube to be built upon.

This advanced video sharing website was sold to Google in November of 2006 for 1.65 billion dollars. Google now uses YouTube as a subsidiary. YouTube will make millions of dollars with Google. Buying YouTube was considered a very wise investment, because it grows bigger every day. Google with YouTube is considered a titian in the media industry.

YouTube users can only upload a video up to 15 minutes in length. This rule wasn’t applied until unauthorized content was being uploaded. In March 2006 the limit was set and put into action. There are many different copyright policies enforced on a YouTube user, because of the unauthorized uploads. You must have written permission from the creator in order to use the content. It seems though that a lot of people are putting disclaimers on the copyrighted content, but it doesn’t always work.

YouTube video uploads can be in many different video formats. The different formats used are .AVI, .MKV, .MOV, .MP4, DivX, .FLV, MPEG-4, MPEG, VOB, WMV, and many more. Most users are known to use .AVI, .MKV, .MOV, .MP4, DivX, and .FLV. The user’s videos can be from standard quality to High Definition. This shows you the many possibilities given with this multi-billion dollar video-sharing site.

YouTube is the site of opportunities with lifetime memories. This site will teach you how to be more successful in the video-sharing world. Many different doors open when the simplest idea becomes part of reality. This site connects all who is a part of it into the global family community.
